Northamptonshire Health Charity (NHC) understands the challenges for the NHS and health care partners to deliver meaningful recognition to their staff when all funds have to be directed to improving health outcomes. Our aim is to make things better for patients, their families and the staff who treat them. As a charity we provide funding for the latest equipment, innovative research, state of the art facilities and all the little extras that make them smile.
The NHC and our trustees felt it was vital to recognise what an unprecedented time this has been and how the health care staff within Northamptonshire have been quite simply….extraordinary! As the registered charity for Northampton General Hospital (NGH), the Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) and Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, help us fund thankufest to recognise their resilience and commitment throughout the Pandemic.
We want to give them the heartfelt thank you they so deserve!
Words didn’t seem enough, so we hatched a plan….
What if we could create meaningful, real memories, a thank you that will remain in the hearts and minds forever?
This is where thankufest comes into play, a series of festivities designed to show our enormous appreciation to the incredible Northamptonshire health care staff. There will be 15 events, taking place over 15 months. Hosted at various venues within the county and designed to appeal to all demographics.
How can you help?
Help us to say thank you and to create new, positive memories for the fantastic NHS and health care staff. We need funding to be able to pull together this fantastic programme of events.
As an individual
